Arc. Ime Friday Umoh is a licensed architect with over a decade of experience in architectural design, construction detailing, consultancy, and project coordination across a broad spectrum of public and private sector developments in Nigeria. Known for his technical precision and collaborative mindset, Ime brings a thoughtful blend of creativity, functionality, and rigorous discipline to every project he undertakes.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Architecture from Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic and a Master of Science (MSc) in Architecture from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. He is a fully registered architect with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA). His ongoing professional development includes specialized training in construction project management and sustainable design practices.
Arc. Ime’s career spans a diverse range of building typologies, including government housing schemes, institutional facilities, high-end residences, and commercial complexes. He has served in pivotal roles such as Project Architect and Design Coordinator, delivering high-quality outputs from concept through construction, while ensuring compliance with technical standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
His previous engagements at prominent firms such as James Cubitt Architects and Buildwise Consult honed his expertise in tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, and other industry-standard software for producing detailed working drawings, 3D visualizations, and construction documents.
Beyond his technical skills, Arc. Ime is recognized for his team-oriented leadership, clear communication, and ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies—qualities that have consistently contributed to the success of the projects he manages.
Outside of work, Ime is passionate about reading, mentoring young professionals, contributing to community development initiatives, and exploring emerging innovations in construction technology. He is married and a proud father.
