The Tiwaa Agro-Resort & Agriculture Hub is a sustainability-driven agri-business and eco-resort development designed as a model for climate-resilient rural transformation in Nigeria. Rooted in a sustainability-first philosophy, the project integrates environmental stewardship, agricultural innovation, and community development within a contemporary African architectural framework.

The first phase will be developed on 100 hectares in Ilorin, Kwara State, with an additional 100 hectares earmarked for future expansion.

Sustainability Framework

Sustainability is embedded in every aspect of the development:

  • Renewable Energy: Solar farms will provide clean, reliable power, reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
  • Water Management: Rainwater harvesting, grey-water recycling, and efficient irrigation systems ensure responsible water use.
  • Waste Management: A circular system incorporating recycling, composting, and conversion of organic by-products minimizes waste and maximizes resource efficiency.
  • Low-Carbon Construction: Locally sourced materials such as rammed earth and indigenous timber reduce embodied carbon, improve thermal performance, and support local economies.

The architectural expression merges contemporary design with traditional African building principles, creating structures that are environmentally responsive, culturally grounded, and energy efficient.
