Arc. Oluseyi Sunday Oni is a seasoned architect and senior design leader with over a decade of impactful contributions to Nigeria’s built environment. He serves as Executive Director – Technical Development at Artec Practice, where he has been a foundational Partner since the firm’s inception. Seyi holds a Diploma in Architecture and a Master of Science in Sustainable Architecture. He is a registered member of both the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON). His academic excellence is reflected in multiple honors, including Best Graduating Student (1993 and 1997).
At Artec Practice, Arc. Oluseyi plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s technical output, consistently leading multidisciplinary teams through complex projects – from design conception to final delivery. His strength lies in aligning aesthetic vision with construction feasibility, ensuring every project upholds the highest standards of durability, functionality, and design integrity. Known for his hands-on design approach, meticulous detailing, and calm project leadership, Seyi brings clarity and discipline to every assignment. He fosters strong collaboration between architects, engineers, and contractors while mentoring emerging professionals with purpose and generosity.
His portfolio includes several nationally significant projects, such as: Asokoro Conference Centre; Federal Judicial Service Commission Exams Centre & Liaison Office, Lagos; New General Hospital, Bauchi; Supreme Court Clinic, Abuja; Stanbic IBTC Bank Branch, Lafia; NIS Technology Building, Abuja; New Rivers State Governor’s Lodge.
