Taofik Popoola, founder, Artec Practice Ltd, is a veteran in the industry. He has been in the practice of Architecture for over 30 years and has been involved in a broad range of projects.

His flair for design and detail is evident in most of his completed and ongoing projects, amongst which are, but not limited to, the design and supervision of the Shell/Imani Housing Estate Abuja; the Federal Judiciary Service Commission (FJSC) Exam Centre and Liaison Office, Lagos.

Others include the Hilltop Retreat Centre Abuja; the New Government House for the Katsina State Government; and the Supervision and Project Management of the Stanbic IBTC Head Office Building project in Lagos.

Earlier on in his career, he had in 1991 designed the 3 building types that typified the party offices of a popular Party nationwide.

Taofik studied Architecture at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc. and MSc. in Architecture in 1984 and 1986 respectively.

He is a registered Member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and the Association of Consulting Architects Nigeria (ACAN).

Seyi is Executive Director – Technical Development with Artec Practice.

He holds a Diploma in Architecture; MSc. Sustainable Architecture.

Seyi is a Partner (Technical Development) from the inception of Artec Practice. He has since then participated in a vast range of building projects in different capacities. His good detailing skills and hands-on approach to design is exemplary.

Some of the projects credited to Seyi include: the design and supervision of Asokoro Conference Centre; federal Judicial Service Commission Examinations Centre and Liaison Office Lagos; the New General Hospital Bauchi; the Supreme Court Clinic Abuja; the Stanbic IBTC Bank Branch in Lafia.

Others include: NIS technology Building Abuja, New Rivers State Governor Lodge amongst others.

Seyi is registered with the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).

Samuel Akinsola Alonge

Alonge is the Executive Director – Business Development. He is responsible for the client and business development aspects of our practice.

He has participated in the execution of various Institutional and Residential Building Projects amongst which include: project management of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Phases I and II Abuja, Nigeria, Katsina State Government House, Abuja, Private Residences at Asokoro and Supreme Court Clinic, Abuja amongst other Projects.

Alonge acquired his BSc. and MSc. in Architecture from the University of Jos Nigeria in 1996 and 1999 respectively. He also obtained an MSc. In Procurement, Management and Sustainable Development from the prestigious International Training Centre of the United Nations – University of Turin – Italy.

He is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and was immediate past Public Relations Officer of the Association of Consulting Architects of Nigeria (ACAN).

David Idowu

David has participated in various projects such as the residential project for a private developer in Asokoro- Abuja; the Supreme Court Clinic;  the renovation of the Federal Judicial Service Commission Head Office; and the FJSC Exam Centre, all located within the 3-Arm Zone of the FCT, Abuja.

With keen interest in continuous improvement and self-development, David coordinates Artec Practice’s general training program (CPDP) and oversees procurement activities for various construction works.

David obtained his B.Tech and M.Tech Degrees in Architecture from The Federal University of Technology, Minna in 2003 and 2005 respectively. He is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and is registered with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).

Ibrahim Kyari

Ibrahim is Assistant Technical Development with Artec practice Ltd.

He takes a lead role in design, profit management and landscaping.

His enthusiasm has made him to work on commercial, custom residential homes, government institution and professional design project. This has made him realize provision for the industry.

Ibrahim designs with resource efficiency in sustainable landscape by thoughtful use of sustainability and ecology in mind.

He pays particular attention to the integration of the built   and natural environment with a very decent pedigree of detailed design.

Aderopo Joseph

Architect/QMS Lead Auditor

Ade has participated in a range of projects amongst which are: the Walk-in Centre for MTN in Sokoto; MTN Regional Office Rehabilitation and Switch Centre in Abuja; and with an unrivalled talent in Retrofitting, interior decorations and furnishing, which he brought to bear at Hilltop Retreat Centre Abuja, Asokoro Conference Centre, Pension office also in Abuja.

As a trained Auditor, Ade is also a Lead Internal Auditor at Artec  Practice, and he actively participated in the process that led to the certification of Artec Practice to ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 9001:2015.

Ade obtained his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Architecture from the University of Jos Nigeria, in 2005 and 2008 respectively. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and is registered with the Architects’ Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON)

Shakir Kayode Yekeen

Architect/QMS Lead Auditor

MSc. (Arch), MNIA

Shakir holds a Masters of Science in Architecture from Joseph Babalola University. Prior to this, he completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture from the Federal University of Technology Minna.

He has participated in a wide range of Project supervision inclusive of the Asokoro Conference Centre, Asokoro Fire Station, Technology building for Nigeria Immigration Service

He is a Certified Quality Management Auditor for ISO9001:2015 and led the team that championed the transition of Artec Practice Ltd from ISO9001:2008 to ISO9001:2015.

Shakir is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and is registered with the Architects’ Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).

Abdulwaheed Babatunde Yahya

Tunde is a versatile Architect with great interest and flair in the use of relevant professional software in producing creative and detailed contents. He has participated in numerous designs and projects supervision inclusive of the New Katsina State Government House – Katsina, Accident & Emergency Centre – Offa General Hospital, Federal Judicial Service Commission Examination Centre – Abuja, Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission Head Quarters Complex – CBD Abuja and numerous Residential Developments amongst others.

He earned His Higher National Diploma in Architecture from Kaduna Polytechnic, Nigeria in 2011. In 2015, he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture from the Federal University of Technology Minna, and in 2019, an MSc. in Architecture from Joseph Ayo Babalola University. He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA).

Raphael joined Artec Practice in 2015 and has participated in the realization of a number of projects inclusive of the Specialist Hospital in Bauchi, Nigeria.

With talent in modelling and a keen eye for innovation and artistry, he is actively involved in the completion of other successful projects.

Raphael graduated from Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, Nigeria where he obtained a Higher National Diploma in Architecture in 2009 and proceeded to obtain a PGD, Architecture from the Federal University of Technology, Minna in 2019. He is a candidate for MSc. In Architecture from Joseph Ayo Babalola University.

Jibril Ahmadu is an Architect with an eye for detail and vast experience in 3-D modeling.

Graduating from the renowned Illinois Institute of Technology, he has practiced in United States of America before joining Artec Practice in 2019 where he continues to contribute to the success of various projects.

He has participated in a number of Projects such as the on-going Hillside Multispecialty Hospital and Residential Development for private Clients.

Suleiman Adebayo

Suleiman joined the Practice in 2021 and has participated in a number of Projects such as the on-going Hillside Multispecialty Hospital and Residential Development for private Clients.

He has a great interest in sustainable solutions for the improvement of the built environment and architectural visualizations.

Suleiman obtained his B.Sc and M.Sc degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Imoh Eyen Mercy is responsible for the smooth and profitable operation of Artec Practice Limited’s Human Resources and Admin Department.

Graduating with a BSc. In Psychology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2008, she went on to obtain her Human Resources Certification by qualifying as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.

She supervises and provides consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensations and benefits, training, development, and labour relations.

Mercy has been with Artec Practice for over 5 Years. She has participated in various projects amongst which are the Federal Ministry of Finance Phases I and II, Abuja, Nigeria.

She coordinates all accounting related activities in the Practice and works with the Principal Partner.

Mercy obtained her B.Sc. (Economics) from the University of Abuja in 2014.

Opeyemi is the Confidential Secretary of Artec Practice Ltd. She graduated from Adekunle Ajasin University in Ondo State where she majored in Psychology.

At Artec Practice, she handles File Documentation of high confidentiality, Data Management, and general secretarial duties.

Noah is an Administrative Officer at Artec Practice Ltd and he has been with the firm for over 6 years.

Graduating with a National Diploma in Business Studies and a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Dorben Polytechnic, Niger State, he handles all documents, project drawings and assists with Financial and Administrative matters of APL.

Chi as she is fondly called in the studio graduated with a National Diploma (ND) from Dorben Polytechnic, Niger State.

She handles the front office and reception attending to visitors, conference meetings and associated office matters.

Tayo is the Document Control Officer at Artec Practice Ltd. he joined Artec Practice in 2021.

He is responsible for maintaining and updating documents for the Organization. His duties include using document management software to upload or scan paper documents, retrieving documents for authorized personnel and ensuring document storage to comply with extant law and regulations. He ensures proper date control and protection within the firm. He also ensures that all data is accurate and that all documents are controlled and distributed when necessary, stored, backed up, meeting the retention policies of the Practice.

Tayo bagged his first degree in Library and Information Science from the Federal University of Ilorin, Kwara state in 2012. He also obtained a Proficiency Certificate in Management with the Nigerian Institute of Management 2013. He is also a registered Member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

Lanre is currently consults for Artec Practice Ltd. he is registered with the Architects Registration Council Of Nigeria (ARCON), and is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (MNIA). Lanre’s versatility is reflected in his ability to execute and supervise projects of diverse complexities and designs simultaneously.

Arc. Adeoti has had a rapid development within the Architecture and Building Industry with over 15years practice experience on a wide range of building projects including: Hilltop Retreat Centre, Abuja; Asokoro Conference Centre, Abuja; New Government House, Katsina; New Rivers State Governors Lodge; Katsina State Governors Lodge; 28 Units for Imani Shell Estate, etc.

He loves inventing and building Models. He holds a B.E.S. and M.E.D (Architecture) from the University of Lagos.

Shina has an in-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) framework. He is an in-house Consultant on perfecting the system processes of Artec Practice Ltd.

He played a cornerstone role in the preparation for, and implementation of ISO 9001:2008 in Artec Practice, and on the upgrade into the new ISO 9001 system: ISO 9001:2015.

Shina possesses a Master’s in Business Administration and has tremendous skill in International Quality Management.
