Taofik Popoola, founder, Artec Practice Ltd, is a veteran in the industry. He has been in the practice of Architecture for over 30 years and has been involved in a broad range of projects.

His flair for design and detail is evident in most of his completed and ongoing projects, amongst which are, but not limited to, the design and supervision of the Shell/Imani Housing Estate Abuja; the Federal Judiciary Service Commission (FJSC) Exam Centre and Liaison Office, Lagos.

Others include the Hilltop Retreat Centre Abuja; the New Government House for the Katsina State Government; and the Supervision and Project Management of the Stanbic IBTC Head Office Building project in Lagos.

Earlier on in his career, he had in 1991 designed the 3 building types that typified the party offices of a popular Party nationwide.

Taofik studied Architecture at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc. and MSc. in Architecture in 1984 and 1986 respectively.

He is a registered Member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and the Association of Consulting Architects Nigeria (ACAN).
