The Executive Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, paid a courtesy and inspection visit to two major ongoing state projects: the Gombe State House of Assembly Complex (Lot 2) and the Gombe State High Court Complex (Lot 1), both situated within the Three Arms Zone in Gombe.
The visit was aimed at assessing the level of progress recorded on the projects and reinforcing the State Government’s commitment to their timely completion. The Governor was accompanied by top government officials, including representatives from the Ministry of Works and other ministries, departments, and agencies of the state.
At each project site, presentations were delivered outlining the status of work. Proceedings began with opening remarks from the State Government Press Secretary, followed by a briefing from the Permanent Secretary of the Gombe State Ministry of Works. The Lead Consultant, Ibrahim Kyari of Artec Practice Ltd, subsequently provided a detailed update on project execution.
The project team; including Ministry representatives, contractors, and consultants highlighted their strong collaboration and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. It was noted that construction has reached an advanced stage, with the structural framework of both complexes nearing completion and work progressing into the finishing phase. The team further assured the Governor that efforts are ongoing around the clock to ensure strict compliance with contractual specifications and adherence to project timelines.
In his remarks, Governor Yahaya expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to the successful delivery of the projects. He emphasized continued government support, particularly in ensuring adequate funding to facilitate timely completion.
These landmark projects are expected to significantly enhance the functionality of the State’s legislative and judicial institutions upon completion.
