G.E. Representatives from Europe and Africa Visit Hillside Multispecialty Hospital

A high-powered delegation from GE Healthcare paid an official visit to the Hillside Multispecialty Hospital project on 14th November 2025.

The GE Healthcare team included the President, Eurasian, Middle East and Africa Growth Markets, alongside the Nigeria Country Representative and the Northern Region Representative. The visit formed part of strategic engagement discussions regarding advanced medical technologies and future collaboration opportunities.

The Hillside Multispecialty Hospital Board was well represented, led by the Vice Chairman, Amb. Dogonyaro, and the Managing Director of the Board, Amb. Iliyasu Paragalda. Also in attendance were Board Members Dr. Idris Labaran and Dr. Akpabio.

The Contractor, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc (JBN), was represented by Mr. Thomas Doepp and Ms. Sara Stopper, while the Design Consultants, Artec Practice Ltd, were represented by Arc. Shakir Yekeen.

During the visit, the delegation was taken through the design philosophy, construction progress, and key clinical planning features of the development. The GE Healthcare team expressed strong satisfaction with the quality of both the design and ongoing construction works. They affirmed that, upon completion, the Hillside Multispecialty Hospital would stand as a first-of-its-kind healthcare facility in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa, setting a new benchmark for medical infrastructure and patient-centered care delivery.

The visit concluded on a positive note, reinforcing strategic alignment among stakeholders and confidence in the transformative impact of the project.
