Located next to the Embassies of the leading nations of the world and on one of the best kept streets on Victoria Island, Walter Carrington crescent, the building has been built to the demanding specifications one would expect to be imposed by an organisation with the high standards as the Client is renowned for. The building enjoys frontages on two major roads:Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue and Ahmadu Bello way.
These distinctive blocks with connecting links, is an elegant, simple and functional building where the shape of the building is dictated by the shape of the site in context. First quality “Agro Buchtal tiles” cladding as a genuine response to elegance, aesthetic and maintenance concerns was utilised which ultimately gave the Client a prestigious building as one of the continent’s leading Banks.

The first of many Projects commissioned to the practice by MTN Nigeria, this challenging project entails the conversion of an existing General motors auto garage to an office commercial building both in layout and visual outlook.
The firm took advantage of the existing high quality material and floor ceiling height to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing building that meets the requirement and expectation of both the Client and Customers, which have won the firm several other projects spread across the northern part of Nigeria over the last nine years.

This 5500sqm. Office scheme combines an inventive approach to structure with a sensitive response to context. The relatively small triangular site located in the town hub, has more recent developments adjacent to it.
The street facade of this building is enhanced to reflect the rich mix of glass and concrete elements.The main elevations incorporate full-height bay windows,projecting canopies with punched circular holes and colour to produce an elegant addition to the streetscape. The facade provides solar shading on the upper level office floor which is designed as flexible open plan office space. In terms of public realm, the project offer gains by enhancing the historic city and creating aesthetically pleasing building.

This Switch building for MTN Nigeria provides accommodation for technical control staff. Prefab switch containers and 93m high mast located within the same premises as the Friendship centre in similar existing 1970 structures. The main building,a two storey warehouse structure was converted to house 2no 90sqm prefab switches on raised steel lattice platform which provide space for services underneath, an office space on two floors towards one end of the warehouse building. The server and training room are housed on the upper level, while the open office space for 2nos staff is provided on the lower level.
Underground fibre optics cable connection links the switches to the mast in a carefully laid out network of UPVC piping and sleeves. The co-existing of the the Friendship centre with the switch building within the same premises was a successful experiment of which the Client was encouraged to utilise on similar sites.

As a result of successful execution of MTN projects by the firm, this building that serves the Clients several customers was developed as a simple, functional but introverted building taking cognisance of the city and borrowing from the culture of its people in which the activities in their buildings takes place ‘within’ with a mostly blank external facade.
The north south orientation of the building helps in reducing heat gain and glare.
Punctuated primary colour of MTN emphasize the entrance and provide a welcoming hue distinct from the other part of the building.
